Erin E. King is a studio artist and ceramics instructor based in the oak woodlands of Sonoma County, California. She hand-builds vibrant, functional pottery designed to bring beauty and playfulness to the table and home.
Her work blends traditional handbuilding techniques with layered surface decoration, incorporating printmaking methods, sgraffito, hand-carved stamps, underglaze, and slip. Drawing inspiration from the natural world, street art, and textile design, Erin creates bold, tactile pieces that invite daily use.
Passionate about building community through creativity and shared making, Erin is proud to be part of the incredible team at Clayfolk Studio in Occidental, CA, where she teaches classes in handbuilding and surface design.
